Spring is in full bloom, literally. There is beauty all around us. Flowers are blooming, gardens are being planted, grass is being mowed, birds are chirping, kids riding by on bikes screaming and laughing with friends. It's familiar and new all at the same time. Each Spring we emerge from being cooped up. Slowly we crack open the windows and let the breeze blow through. Slowly people start to emerge in their yards. To eat, to play, to read, to plant, to be. It's a wonderful thing to be apart of and to witness- this new season blossoming right before our eyes.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks for our family. Will's traveling and we've been torn apart by a 7 hour time difference. To be honest, it's been really hard, for everyone. The day he left, I sobbed and sobbed and didn't want to let go of him. It's the longest we've ever been apart. I know that families all over are apart for various reasons all the time, so we aren't the first or the last to go through this. I just hate thinking of the moments he is missing with us. But, on the other side of it, our friends have really stepped up helping in anyway they can. Having us over for dinner, playdates, helping me keep up the house/yard. I've been blown away by it all. It has truly helped tremendously.

As much as we are thankful for the help, we are anxiously awaiting for our guy to come home.
