10 week picnic

Our baby turned 10 weeks over the weekend and it just blew my mind! February 21st seems like yesterday and a year ago all at the same time. I'm such a broken record with that same thought.

We celebrated with a picnic in the park on the most beautiful spring day. It was the picture perfect day. The trees blooming will never get old to me. I'll stand and marvel over the bright colors and the pedals on the ground. God's blessings are all over.

He was such a good sport for the whole day. It's incredibly fascinating to see the world through your child's eyes. Watching him learn and develop is such a gift.

We purposely forgot a bottle this time so that I could practice nursing in public. It's something that I need to get used to and comfortable with. We succeeded and it was a beautiful moment that I will treasure.

The parks in our town are so beautiful-this one in particular is great. Sprinkled all over the beautiful grass are big trees that provide nice shaded areas. That's where we found ourselves for a couple hours.

Oh those two together make my heart so happy. There is really nothing better than watching your husband become such a loving and doting father to your baby. Grayson and I are so grateful.

Happy 10 weeks, Grayson. You are the light of our life and we love you so much!
