30 weeks!

I remember being at 20 weeks thinking of how 'big' I was and I just couldn't believe it. O what was that, Alyson? 20 weeks, say hello to 30 weeks! :)
20 on the left and 30 on the right.
Pregnancy is pretty amazing. Pictures like this remind me of how amazing this process is, especially during the not so fun times of using the bathroom at least 3 times before we leave the house.
How far along: 30 weeks

Baby Size: Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now and weighs almost 3 pounds. About the size of a large cabbage.

Baby's progress: A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her/him, but that volume will shrink as the baby gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. His/Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after the baby is born, he/she will keep their eyes closed for a good part of the day. When the baby does open them, he/she will respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means he/she can only make out objects a few inches from his/her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

Weight gain: Probably around 27ish pounds.

Stretch Marks: Still none!

Sleep: Hit & miss. I'm up using the bathroom a lot, so it depends on how tired I am. Sometimes I'll fall right back to sleep, other nights it's hard.
Gender: No idea! :)

Movement: Yes, lots!

Best Moment this week: Celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and being able to feel our wonderful gift move around.
Looking forward to: Well since we celebrated Christmas this year, I'm looking forward to having our baby here next year for Christmas. :)
Food Cravings: No cravings.

Symptoms: Using the bathroom, shortness of breath & I think I've got the pregnancy waddle down.

Things that suck: The amount I pee. Just so much.
Things that don't suck: We could be anywhere from 7-10 weeks away from meeting our baby. To say we are excited is an understatement.
