Happy Halloween-22 weeks!

Happy Halloween from our family to yours! We are enjoying this years holiday & passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters we get-but I'll be honest, all we can think about is dressing our little pumpkin up next year! We are enjoying time now, don't get me wrong but looking forward to all the memories we will make with our family!
I had a check-up on Monday with my doctor. For the most part everything is going well. Baby and I are both healthy. My past two visits I had seen the other two doctors on staff & my back was hurting more in my lower back and not in my mid-back. But, for the past month it has moved to the left side in my mid-back, right where our kidneys are. Of course, not thinking about my kidneys, and with my past back pain- I just thought it was something to do with that or just me being pregnant. Well my doctor quickly questioned me (thankfully). She doesn't think my back pain there is muscular because it's just on one side. Of course, she won't know for sure until she gets the results of my ultrasound I am getting tomorrow. She believes there may be a build-up of fluid around my kidneys causing the pain. We will see what the results look like to decide what we can do, if anything. I am just praying we find out what is going on with this pain and hopefully I can get a little relief.

How far along: 22 weeks
Baby Size: Spaghetti Squash
Baby's progress: At 11 inches and almost 1 pound. Your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. The babies lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he or she is even developing tiny tooth buds beneath their gums. His/her eyes have formed, but the irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his/her body and the deep wrinkles on the skin, which baby will sport until he/she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his/her belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.
Weight gain: Total weight gain 18 pounds. My doctor said it's healthy and great!
Stretch Marks: Still none!
Sleep: Still sleeping pretty good. Noticing in the last week or so that it's getting harder for me to roll over or just get off the bed.
Gender: No idea! :)
Movement: Yes, lots! My doctor said I should feel baby at least 1 a day at this point and boy do I! Our favorite thing to do is to watch my stomach move if it kicks or swims by.
Best Moment this week: Halloween- Seeing all the kiddos dressed up got us so excited for next year!
Looking forward to: Our hospital tour!
Food Cravings: I was craving some bad stuff on Thursday/Friday. I really wanted something greasy but knew after the candy I ate this week, I didn't need it, so I fought the craving!
Symptoms: Kicks and movement. I wanted to note because I don't think I did previously, but my Linea Nigra line arrived pretty early in our pregnancy. Around 12-13 weeks is when I noticed it. Shortly after that it come on pretty strong!
Things that suck: Just to note: I'm not a huge fan of the word 'suck' there, but what can ya do. Well, I guess I could file having to get my ultrasound under things I don't like, but I'm glad we hopefully have figured out what is going on.

Things that don't suck: Ordering a few pictures to hang in nursery.
