19 weeks!

Just in the nick of time... Wrapping up 19 weeks and this week has been a good one. We have made good progress with the nursery and are buying the crib this week! Whoo hoo! We only actually will be in this house for a month 1/2-2 months, depending on when baby is comes. We are looking to buy a home & I know we will. I honestly am not worried, just trusting God on this one. I know it will be tough moving with a newborn, but we'll get through it!

Anyway, back to the nursery. Since we won't be here that long & baby won't be sleeping in there, we are just having the basics. It truly does help that we don't know what the sex of the baby is. It saves us me from going crazy decorating/buying a ton of clothes. Although, I did just search Gap baby gender neutral and I about died looking at those clothes. Will is working hard on painting the changing table, which looks awesome!

How far along: 19 weeks
Baby Size: heirloom tomato
Baby's progress: Your baby's sensory development is exploding! His/ Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that baby may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to him/her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you. Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom. His/Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of his/her body now. The kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on the scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on the skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.
Weight gain: Unsure on this one. Although, I have been walking and even jogging, so I am feeling really good!

Stretch Marks: Still none!
Sleep: Sleeping really well!

Gender: It will be a wonderful surprise! :)

Movement: Yes, movement and I can feel it swimming around.

Best Moment this week: Getting nursery ready for baby. Makes me smile every time I walk by.

Looking forward to: Seeing my Mom next week! :)

Food Cravings: Nope...nothing!

Symptoms: Back pain, still. :(

Things that suck: Well Friday, I really wanted a beer, so that sorta sucked, but I know I'll be fine!

Things that don't suck: Feeling baby move, ordering the crib and like I said above Gap baby! So cute!
